Skyros Run is taking a new dimension through the initiative #werunfor by Stefania Maroudi, who specializes in cultural tourism as part of her work at Skyros Ammos Hotel. The initiative adds another meaningful purpose to Skyros Run through supporting cultural preservation and natural conservation causes. This year, the annual run will support the inevitably threatened with extinction Skyrian horse.  

We Run For Skyriano will embrace the precious historical species via raising awareness and donations. All the proceeds will be donated for the needs of the Skyrian horses on the island. Running for a cause, preserving biodiversity.
